A few weeks ago I got to be a part of Bryony and Steve’s big day, at The Old Deanery in Ripon. Situated right next to the Ripon Cathedral, this beautiful 17th century house is full of character, and the perfect venue to hold a wedding!
Sneak Peek – The Old Deanery Wedding
As soon as I arrived at The Old Deanery, I knew this wedding was going to be amazing. as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, and period features with a sweet bar and seating area. After having a nosey around with the wedding planner, I went up to meet the gorgeous bride to be, Bryony and her lovely bridesmaids! all very excited and after a warm welcoming I got straight to work, and couldn’t help but fall in love with the beautiful wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses! they was a gorgeous dusty pink, a perfect match for the flowers which surrounded the venue too!
Shortly after I got to meet Steve too, who was in the building, and shortly learnt that he was pretty worried about his big day, not due to nerves, but because he fell off a curb the night before and pretty badly sprained his ankle! I had to laugh at the unfortunate event, however he sure looked in pain!
It’s not very often the bride and groom stay at the same venue the night before, however they was only rooms apart. So using this to my advantage I decided to do a pre-marriage photo of the bride and groom being in an image together, but not seeing each other! Steve being super excited I wasn’t sure if he was going to have a sneaky peek himself! However he stuck to his word, and you can clearly see the excitement between them both!
Hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek of the photos, I can’t wait to share the rest with you, They’re certainly amazing!
