A few weeks ago I got to meet the lovely Emma & Nick at their future wedding venue, the beautiful Woodborough hall for a bridal consultation and engagement shoot!
Woodborough Hall Nottingham Engagement Shoot
So, its been a few days since I posted – Sorry! Wedding season is well and truly underway now and its been a bit hectic driving from one side of England to the other! However it just makes my job super exciting, and all the more to share with you!
This was blog post I wanted to save!
I’ve been getting to know Emma over email for a few months now so when we made a date to meet at Woodborough Hall, I couldn’t wait! A stunning 16th century country house in the heart of the countryside in Nottingham, It’s a perfect wedding venue! Somewhere that I’ve been to before many times for photo shoots. and also hosts a lovely afternoon tea. I know already this wedding is going to be amazing!
Once we went through the consultation we decided to have a look around the grounds. Not sort of photographic spots it’s a photographers dream with some many private spots, it was perfect for Emma and Nick! Previously knowing that they was a bit nervous about having their photos being taken on the big day, I encouraged the couple to have a small engagement shoot to help ease the nerves. Once we started I knew there would be absolutely no problem, and felt very confident in them! keeping the photos natural, interacting with the surroundings they both looked gorgeous! Driving home I was extremely happy with the photos. However, I didn’t want to share them until the couple had seen them first, and they’re in love with them!

Once they received the photos I got a message from a very excited Emma about how relaxed, yet super excited she feels about me capturing their day. As they both absolutely love their photos! Feedback like that is the reason I love my job so much!
